David Fehr RSS
David Fehr is in his 19th year as the director of Attaché.  David also does
the arrangements for Attaché and many, many other high schools across
the country.

He is a graduate of Cissna Park High School, Cissna Park, IL and of Illinois
State University in Normal, IL.  David taught for 12 years in Illinois. While
at Sullivan, IL, he started the Sullivan Singers Show Choir and his groups
won multiple national championships.  When Winona Garner Costello,
Attache's founder, retired, she recommended David to the school officials
at Clinton.
 
David also was Musical Director of The Little Theatre On The Square in
Sullivan, IL.  In his 13 summerseasons he was an equity performer and
musician in addition to his directing duties.  A star theater for the
first 25 years of its existence, David directed and worked with such
notables as Kathryn Grayson, Peter Palmer, Larry Storch, Rosemary
Clooney, Sheila McCrae, Louis Edmonds, Colleen Zenk, Robert Newman,
John Wesley Shipp, Nicolette Goulet, Bill Hayes, Eddie Mekka, and
Anthony Rapp.  David was rewarded with a star of his own in Sullivan's
Walk Of Stars between John Saxon and Leslie Ann Warren.

David now has a bigger reward.  Three Attaché alum have made
it on Broadway.  Heath Calvert (1997) in Good Vibrations and
(2009) in Hair, Christopher Spaulding (2001) in Curtains, and
Lance Bass (1997) in Hairspray.  David and his wife Mary have
sponsored a Summer Musical Workshop yearly since 1994
introducing students to the musical theater world.

Mary Fehr is the Designer and Costumer - having won nearly all Best
Costume Awards given at competitions over the years. Together, David
and Mary have teamed to lead Attaché to Grand Championships
in 53 of 61 competitions entered while competing against the elite
programs across the nation. Attaché has been the Host Choir of the
Show Choir Nationals held at the Grand Ol' Opry in Nashville, TN
every year since 2002.

Attaché has helped produce recording artists including Lance Bass
of NSYNC, Shelly Fairchild, Mandy Ashford, Paul Martin, Michael
Martin, and Meredith Edwards.
Musicians include Keith Carlock -drummer for Sting, Steely Dan,
The Blues Brothers Band, and Thad Beaty - guitarist/songwriter/
producer for Sugarland and Plumb. Perrin Lamb. Jason Collum,
Josh Collum (Ryan), Russ Wimbish, Kevin Lyons.
Performers include Paige Dawson Pope, Eric Dalton, Josh Smith,
Aaron Young, Maribeth McCullough, Christopher Spaulding, and
Heath Calvert. 
Choreographers include April James, Christopher Spaulding,
Gates Crisler, Dexter Bishop, Courtney Strong,
Kellis McSparrin, and Harley McAlexander.
Cheerleading Coach - David Hanberry.
Stage Technicians include Denman Anderson and Jesse Emling.
Choral Music Educators include Erin Linton, Darren Dale,
Shanna Norman, and Max Lyall.
Band Music Educators include Robert Allen, Ryan Saul, Paul Heindl, Casey Kirk
Steve McCartney,Casey Kirk, Mark Hatch, and Nathan Mercer.
Crew member Dominic Douglass is now an NFL player with the St. Louis Rams.
Clair Montgomery is a Tennessee Titan Cheerleader.
Brett DiBiase is a professional wrestler.

Attaché is also very proud of the academic achievements of it's
students.  Many Attaché alumni are doctors, lawyers, engineers,
dentists, teachers, football coaches (DeSean Dyson and Drew
Wardlaw off of the 2001 Clinton Arrow 2nd place team), educators,
etc.  In 2009, three members of Attaché, Michael Harper, Jamey
Pigott, and Rachel Morgan, were National Merit Semi-Finalists. 
Rachel Morgan then became one of the few National Finalists from
the state of Mississippi.  Harley McAlexander(2005), former
valedictorian of CHS, was the student body president of
Mississippi College last year, and J.R. Robinson(2005) is
the student body president this year at the University of
Southern Mississippi.  Mr. Fehr has been a Star Teacher
twice at Clinton High School and Lindsey Miller, Beth Finch,
Andrew Meaders and Michael Harper have been Star
Students.
